Opened in 1998, it is the home and working place of more than 19 sculptors, painters, and artists from various fields of art from all over Thailand. Visit anytime from 10am to 5pm on Tuesdays to Sundays (Hua Hin Art Village is closed every Monday) and be introduced to a world of art in a safe, friendly, and warm space.
Renowned actress, director, playwright, and founder of the Legendary Patravadi Theatre in Bangkok, Patravadi Mejudhon opened Vic Hua Hin in 2010 as an institution for arts and culture for the new generation. Her vision was to create a comprehensive arts complex where art and culture is learnt, shared, enjoyed, and exchanged for Thai and international visitors, students, and artists alike.
The 30-rai (11.8 acres) Vic Hua Hin compound includes studios, accommodation, an indoor and outdoor theatre, a puppet theatre, a gallery, seminar spaces, a school, and a restaurant.
Hua Hin has a special place in the hearts of the Thai people, where royal residences like Maruekatayawan Palace and Klai Kang Won Palace were built during the reign of Rama VI and also the cradle of King Bhumibol’s (Rama IX) many royal projects.
